Hi all thought i'd found my ideal syndicate .

only £200.00 per year
just over an hours drive.
just over 40 miles from home
membership starts from date you pay you money.
phoned up theres vacancys.
booked to go over on saturday morning for a look.
Till i looked at the rules,terms&conditions which put me of.
It was flooded out 2008 whats to stop being flooded out again.
No radios .i'd be lost without my little radio on very low volume.
No braid.most of my hook links are braid or mixture of braid,
my spod&marker rods are braided line.
Have to wear brown green or black.
Have attend at 6 1/2 day bank clearing session don't mind doing my share but i think 6 1/2days is over the top.
Have to phone up before you go to say what peg you want i normally like to pick my peg when i get there to suit weather conditions.
Night fishing granted only as &when allowed so may not be allowed all the the time.
Why do owners put these rules in place.

some people just go over the top with rules, the best rules are
Good practice of fish care and handling
Respect of all wildlife in and around lake
No getting absalutely spangled
No junkies that includes pott heads(cos they cant be arsed to do anything)
If you act like a knobhead you will get your rods shoved up your arse.

What a crap website, the "Terms and Conditions" page is really crap
so are some of the rules.
Doesn't say anything about braid as hoohlengths Larry, just braided lines. You should be okay with the spod and marker.
Sounds like he's a dictator.

i'm with you on the dictator more like a control freak.
I think he wants the anglers to do his conservation work for for him on the cheap.
