Has anyone seen or heard of the dancing chod rig?
I've seen it a couple of times and it looks quite interesting.
You attach a good fluorocarbon leader to your lead clip via a crimped loop, push a bead on sideways using a baiting needle, then your quick change swivel, then another bead. your chod rig is then attached to that. at the end of the leader you attach a swivel or small weight. A swivel is covered in tungsten putty to the weight required or the weight is attached via a clip to your choice.
The idea is that you can cast to weed, the lead drops and the rest of the rig will slowly drop onto the weed without sinking or being pulled into the weed.
I think this sounds like a good plan?

Ive not heard of a dancing chod rig before. Sounds like it might work tho

I'll see if I can get a couple of pictures.
I can see why some are thinking death rig though, I think the problem is that the hooklink can't pass over either end if the leader parts from the mainline
I'll get some pictures on. |
